Renee Guerrieri , LCSW

Renee Guerrieri earned a Master of Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans in 1997 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in Florida. As an LCSW she is trained to provide clinical mental health services, and she brings 27 years of experience to work with individuals, couples, and families. Renee is skilled in individual, marital and relationship, and family therapy, and she emphasizes short-term, solution-focused, evidence-based approaches to help clients make meaningful change.

She is certified to provide Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and she combines those methods with practical, psychoeducational coaching on communication skills, fair fighting for intimate relationships, rebuilding trust, increasing intimacy, and coping strategies across life stages. She also offers guidance on social skills and parenting strategies, and she will refer clients elsewhere if a specific need falls outside her training.

For the past 18 years Renee has worked with active duty military members, Veterans, and their families, developing a thorough understanding of the challenges that population can face. She has extensive experience supporting people through grief and loss, parenting concerns, life adjustments, and relationship difficulties. Renee approaches each person with dignity, respect, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, tailoring conversation and treatment plans to meet individual needs. She encourages those taking the first step toward therapy and looks forward to supporting and empowering people throughout their therapeutic process.
